Why was there confusion and deliberation regarding Sai Baba's final rites after he passed away?

The source of this uncertainty, as mentioned in the chapter, was a past incident from 32 years prior. In that event, Baba had drawn his life force into the crown of his head for three days, appearing to be dead. He then suddenly returned to his body, relieving everyone's anxiety. Because of this precedent, when he finally passed, devotees were doubtful whether it was a temporary Samadhi (trance) or actual death, leading to extensive discussions about the final resting place.
