Why was the Tarkhad's son so worried about going to Shirdi, even though his mother wanted him to come along?

The Tarkhad's son was hesitant to travel to Shirdi because of his deep devotion and daily worship routine for Sai Baba. As described in Chapter 9, he performed daily worship of Sai's photograph, including a food offering (Naivedya), and would not eat without doing so. His main worry was about who would perform this worship regularly in his absence.
