Why was the son of Babasaheb Tarkhad so hesitant to travel to Shirdi with his mother?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 9

The son was hesitant to travel to Shirdi because he was deeply worried about who would continue the daily worship of Sai Baba's photograph at their home. According to Chapter 9, his daily routine involved performing worship with his body, speech, and mind, and crucially, offering 'Naivedya' (a food offering) to Sai before anyone in the house ate. His father was a follower of the Prarthana Samaj, which made the son question if his father would be willing or able to perform the idol worship properly. This concern for the uninterrupted continuation of his devotional service was the primary reason for his reluctance to leave.
