Why was the devotee Sapatnekar so distressed in Shirdi, and what did he decide to do about it?

📖 Chapter 48

Sapatnekar was deeply distressed because every time he approached Sai Baba for darshan, Baba would sternly say "Chal Hat" (Go away). This constant rebuke made him feel singled out, as he observed Baba treating others with immense love. According to Chapter 48 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, Sapatnekar began to question his past karma and sins, wondering if his initial doubtfulness towards Baba was the cause of this displeasure. Despite his sorrow, which made food and sleep difficult, he made a firm personal determination to remain in Shirdi with a steady mind until he finally received Baba's grace, refusing to leave disappointed.
