Why was the devotee Sapatnekar so distressed in Shirdi, and what was his resolution?

Sapatnekar was deeply distressed because every time he approached Sai Baba, he was met with the harsh rebuke "Chal Hat" (Go away). As detailed in Chapter 48 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, this made him feel singled out and confused, wondering about his past sins, especially when he saw Baba treating others with love. He lamented that while others experienced a "daily Diwali of joy," his forehead was marked with rejection.
