Why was the devotee Sapatnekar so distressed and what did he think was the reason for Sai Baba's displeasure with him?

Sapatnekar was deeply distressed because every time he went for Sai Baba's darshan and bowed, Baba would rebuke him with the words "Chal Hat" (Go away). This made him feel singled out, as he observed Baba treating others with extreme love. As described in Shri Sai Satcharitra, Chapter 48, he began to question his past deeds, wondering if his karma had reached its peak or if he had violated Dharma. He even considered that Baba's anger might stem from his own initial argumentative and doubtful attitude towards Baba when he first came to him.
