Sai Baba Himself selected Hemadpant, who felt he was devoid of specialized knowledge, to be the author. The chapter explains that Sai held Hemadpant's hand, guiding him to write this true life story. The inspiration for the book arose after Sai Baba's departure, based on the fame and profound stories He had narrated to His disciples.
