Why was Sapatnekar so upset with Sai Baba at first?

📖 Chapter 48

Sapatnekar was deeply distressed because every time he went for Sai Baba's darshan and bowed, Baba would rebuke him with the words "Chal Hat," which means "Go away." As described in Shri Sai Satcharitra Chapter 48, this treatment was particularly painful for him because he saw Baba behave with extreme love towards everyone else. He felt singled out, wondering about his past deeds or sins that could have caused Baba's displeasure. He even considered that his initial argumentative and doubtful attitude towards Baba might be the reason for this situation. This constant rejection made him feel as if there was no joy for him, while others experienced a "daily Diwali of joy" in Baba's presence.
