Why was Sapatnekar so upset with how Sai Baba was treating him?

Sapatnekar was deeply distressed because he felt singled out for negative treatment by Sai Baba. While he observed other devotees experiencing a "daily Diwali of joy," he was consistently met with the sharp rebuke "Chal Hat" (Go away) whenever he bowed. According to Shri Sai Satcharitra Chapter 48, this caused him immense pain, leading him to lose his appetite and sleep. He began to question his past deeds, wondering if his karma had peaked or if his initial argumentative nature towards Baba was the cause. He lamented that while Baba was loving towards others, only he seemed to face this constant displeasure, which made him feel isolated and unworthy.
