Why was Sapatnekar so distressed by his initial interactions with Sai Baba in Shirdi?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 48

Sapatnekar was deeply distressed because every time he approached Sai Baba to bow, he was met with the harsh rebuke, "Chal Hat," which means "Go away." As recounted in Chapter 48, this caused him immense pain and confusion, especially as he observed Baba treating everyone else with great love and affection. He felt singled out for this displeasure, leading him to question his past deeds and sins. The experience was so upsetting that he lost his appetite and sleep, feeling that while others experienced a "daily Diwali of joy," his own fate was only rejection.
