Why was Sapatnekar so distressed and what did he think was the reason for Sai Baba's anger towards him?

📖 Chapter 48

Sapatnekar was deeply distressed because every time he approached Sai Baba for darshan, he was met with the harsh rebuke, "Chal Hat" (Go away). This treatment made him feel singled out, as he observed Baba behaving with extreme love towards everyone else. As recounted in Chapter 48 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, Sapatnekar began to question himself, wondering what past deeds or sins could have caused Baba's displeasure. He speculated that his karma might have reached a peak or that his initial argumentative and doubtful attitude towards Baba was the reason for this situation. This constant rejection made him feel as though a daily festival of joy was happening for others, while only rejection was written on his forehead.
