In the Shri Sai Satcharitra, Sapatnekar was deeply distressed because whenever he went for darshan, Sai Baba would unerringly rebuke him with "Chal Hat," which means "Go away." Sapatnekar felt singled out, as Baba treated others with extreme love in his presence. He began to wonder if it was due to his past karma or his initial argumentative and doubtful attitude towards Baba. As described in Chapter 48, this constant rejection made him feel as though a "daily Diwali of joy" was experienced by everyone else, while his own forehead was marked only with Baba's dismissal. Despite this, he resolved to stay in Shirdi with a steady mind until he received Baba's grace.
Why was Sai Baba always telling Sapatnekar 'Chal Hat'? It sounds like Baba was really angry with him.
