Why was H.S. Dixit in Ahmednagar, and what was causing him so much stress there?

According to Chapter 51, H.S. Dixit was initially in Ahmednagar to attend to some election work. During this time, a horse show was also being held in the city, which had brought many people, including Balasaheb Mirikar, to the area. Once Dixit completed his official duties, his focus shifted entirely to reaching Shirdi. The source of his overwhelming anxiety and stress, as vividly described in Chapter 51, was his intense desire to meet Sai Baba and the uncertainty of how he would get there. He was deeply worried about finding a suitable companion who could not only travel with him but also properly introduce him and "place me at His feet," a concern he respectfully shared with the Mirikars.
