Why was Bapusaheb Buti so worried about the mansion when Sai Baba fell ill?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 39

Bapusaheb Buti became deeply distressed when Sai Baba fell seriously ill because he feared his entire project would become meaningless. As Chapter 39 recounts, Buti had spent lakhs of rupees on the mansion, which was intended as a temple. His main anxiety was that Baba's feet might never touch the temple if he passed away. Buti's heart was troubled with thoughts like, "After Baba has left his body, what is the use of Murlidhar or the house? What is the use of the mansion or the temple?" His regret stemmed from the belief that without Baba's presence, the expensive structure would be nothing more than an empty building, a great obstacle having ruined his devotional offering.
