Why was a devotee named Sapatnekar so distressed during his time in Shirdi with Sai Baba?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 48

Sapatnekar was deeply distressed because every time he approached Sai Baba for darshan, he was harshly rebuffed with the words "Chal Hat," meaning "Go away." As described in Chapter 48, this was particularly painful for him as he observed Baba behaving with "extreme love" towards all other devotees. He felt singled out for this treatment, leading him to lament that while others experienced a "daily Diwali of joy," his own fate was only rejection. This caused him immense mental anguish, making him question his past deeds and wonder if he had committed some terrible sin to earn Baba's displeasure. His suffering was so great that food and water lost their taste, and he was unable to sleep.
