Why is there such a rush to pursue spiritual life? Can't I just enjoy my youth and think about it when I'm older?

📖 Chapter 8

Chapter 8 strongly advises against procrastination in spiritual matters, highlighting the extremely transient nature of human existence. It states that "birth and death are always attached" and that life can depart suddenly, without warning. Time is constantly counting down our lifespan, and the final moment "won't wait for a second." The text explicitly calls it foolish to think, "I will do it in the next birth," because there is no certainty of attaining a human form again. As Chapter 8 explains, this human body is a rare prize obtained through great merit, and every moment should be utilized for spiritual progress to escape the calamitous cycle of birth and death.
