Why is it said that the Supreme Being is beyond description? What methods are suggested for experiencing this reality instead of just defining it?

📖 Chapter 4

Chapter 4 explains that the Supreme Being is beyond the grasp of ordinary language and intellect. The four levels of speech get tired trying to describe Him, and even the Vedas, in their cleverness, ultimately resorted to saying 'Not this, Not this' (Neti-Neti). The text further illustrates this by comparing the experience of Sai's qualities to tasting sugar—the tongue knows the taste but cannot translate the experience into words. Instead of intellectual description, Chapter 4 suggests other means of connection. Bowing with body, speech, and mind was determined as a primary means. It also highlights that the best way to narrate Him is through 'firm silence,' and that simply recalling His qualities can lead the mind to a state of stillness (Samadhi).
