Why is detachment from the world considered so crucial for a devotee of Sai?

As explained in Chapter 45, detachment from the world is crucial because without it, love for God cannot be genuinely sparked, and one risks a "great downfall" despite having the good fortune of Sai's company. The text poses a critical question: how can someone be called a Sai-devotee or be considered attached to His feet if they have not learned how to be detached from the world? True devotion requires being unable to bear separation from Sai for even a moment, a state that is impossible to achieve if the mind is still entangled in worldly desires and attachments.
