Why does the text suggest that life on Earth is more valuable than attaining the pleasures of heaven?

📖 Chapter 37

The Shri Sai Satcharitra, in Chapter 37, argues that the earth-world is of profound importance compared to heaven. It describes heaven as merely a place for sensual enjoyment, from which a soul falls once its merit is exhausted. The text even equates the pleasure of Indra in a celestial garden with that of a donkey in a dung-heap to illustrate the uniform, temporary nature of such joy. In contrast, life on Earth, though fleeting, offers the opportunity to offer every action to God. This practice allows a devotee to attain a place of fearlessness, which is considered a far greater achievement than the transient pleasures of any heavenly abode.
