Why does the scripture suggest that being born on Earth is more valuable than reaching heaven, especially in the context of overcoming fear?

📖 Chapter 37

Chapter 37 presents a compelling argument that birth in the earth-world is of profound importance, even more so than attaining heaven. It explains that pleasures in heaven are temporary and sensual, and one inevitably falls from heaven once their merit is exhausted. In contrast, the earth-world is described as the unique place where one can access the "science of the oneness of Brahman and the Self," which is the direct means to ultimate liberation and true fearlessness. Even though life here is fleeting, the text states that by offering every action performed in a moment to God, one can attain the "place of fearlessness." Therefore, striving for a temporary heaven is less valuable than using our time on earth to achieve permanent freedom from the cycle of birth, death, and fear.
