Why does the Satcharitra emphasize worshipping a Guru in a physical form? Isn't the formless Brahman the ultimate goal?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 11

Chapter 11 of the Sai Satcharitra provides a clear explanation for the importance of devotion to a Saguna, or manifest, Guru. The text argues that as long as a worshipper has a physical body, the Guru must also be in a physical form for the devotee to connect with. It states that devotion to the manifest form is essential, as without it, "the bud of the mind does not open." To clarify this, Chapter 11 uses a powerful analogy: just as ghee is still ghee whether it is frozen (with form) or melted (formless), the Saguna (manifest) and Nirguna (unmanifest) are simply two aspects of the same single, all-pervading reality.
