Why does the Satcharitra advise against comparing Sai to the sun or moon? Aren't these common metaphors for greatness?

📖 Chapter 50

Chapter 50 explains that such comparisons are not fitting for Sai because of his eternal and unchanging nature. While the sun and moon are powerful, they have inherent limitations. The text explicitly states, "It is not fit to compare him to the sun, for that sun sets." Similarly, regarding the moon, it observes, "If I compare him to the moon, it wanes." In contrast, the Satcharitra posits that "Sai is forever complete." The purpose of rejecting these common metaphors, as detailed in Chapter 50, is to highlight Sai's perfection and constancy, which transcends the cyclical and transient nature of celestial bodies.
