Why does the author pause the narrative to explain how he got the name 'Hemadpant'?

The author explains the reason for this digression in Chapter 2. He notes that the attribution "Composed by the devotee Hemadpant" appears at the end of every chapter, which would naturally make listeners curious about who this person is. To satisfy this curiosity and honor a promise he made in the first chapter, he decides to tell the sub-story of his naming. He feels that this decision is also a form of Sai's inspiration, triggered by his reflection on Baba's words about avoiding dualistic explanations. He assures the reader that after this short story, the main life story of Sai will continue.
