Why does the author of the Satcharitra find it so difficult to describe Sai Baba's greatness in Chapter 49?

📖 Chapter 49

In Chapter 49, the author expresses the profound difficulty of capturing Sai Baba's greatness in words. He notes that even the Vedas and Puranas grew weary of praising the Sadguru, suggesting his own attempts are inadequate. He describes Sai's Leela (divine play) as "inexpressible" and "unfathomable," questioning how his limited speech could possibly describe the "inconceivable art of the Unfathomable." The text mentions that even higher forms of speech like Para, Pashyanti, and Madhyama fall short, so the spoken word (Vaikhari) is certainly insufficient. Despite this knowledge, the author feels an irresistible urge to share Sai's qualities, compelled by Sai's own grace to complete the book.
