Why does the author of Chapter 50 struggle to find a suitable comparison for Sai Baba's greatness?

📖 Chapter 50

Chapter 50 illustrates the difficulty of describing Sai Baba's greatness using worldly analogies because he transcends them all. The author considers comparing Sai to the sun, but dismisses it because the sun eventually sets, whereas Sai's presence is constant. Similarly, a comparison to the moon is deemed inadequate because the moon wanes, while Sai is described as 'forever complete.' This difficulty in finding a comparison, as explained in Chapter 50, is because Sai is the 'Unmanifest' that has taken form and an 'embodiment of consciousness.' The author concludes that the greatness of the 'King of Gurus' is unfathomable, and the pride of speech dissolves when trying to describe it, suggesting that silent reverence is a more fitting response.
