Why does Chapter 11 state that devotion to a Guru in a physical form (Saguna) is important?

📖 Chapter 11

Chapter 11 of the Sai Satcharitra strongly advocates for devotion to a Saguna, or manifest, Guru. It argues that as long as the worshipper has a physical body, the Guru must also be in a physical form for devotion to truly manifest. The text explains that it is much easier to develop love and devotion for a form that can be seen, at whose feet one can bow, and with whom one can exchange words of love. According to the chapter, without meditating on the manifest form, loving devotion does not occur, and the mind cannot blossom. It is this firm love for the Saguna that ultimately leads to the realization of the Nirguna, or formless, reality.
