Why does Chapter 11 place so much emphasis on needing a physical Guru or meditating on a manifest form?

📖 Chapter 11

Chapter 11 of the Sai Satcharitra strongly advocates for the necessity of a physical, or Saguna, Guru for a devotee's spiritual journey. The text reasons that as long as the worshipper has a body or form, the Guru must also be approached in a physical form for devotion to truly develop. It explains that without meditating on this manifest form, genuine loving devotion cannot manifest. As Chapter 11 metaphorically states, unless the bud of the mind blooms through this process, it will have no fragrance or nectar, meaning it cannot attain a higher spiritual state. This practice is presented as the primary way for a devotee to experience the wonders of Guru-worship.
