Why does Chapter 11 of the Sai Satcharitra argue that having a Guru in a physical form is important for a devotee?

📖 Chapter 11

According to Chapter 11 of the Sai Satcharitra, a physical Guru is essential for a devotee who also has a physical form. The text argues that devotion never manifests without meditating on the Saguna, or manifest form. It is through this manifest form that one can place their head at the Guru's feet, exchange words of love, and perform worship with offerings like sandalwood and grains. The chapter posits that understanding the Saguna is much easier than the Nirguna (unmanifest) and that establishing firm love for the physical form is the necessary first step toward the eventual realization of the formless.
