Why does Chapter 11 emphasize the need for a Guru with a physical form?

Chapter 11 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra strongly emphasizes the importance of a Guru in a physical, or Saguna, form. The reasoning provided is that as long as the worshipper has a body, the Guru must also be in a physical form for devotion to manifest properly. The chapter explains that it is much easier to develop love for something tangible, where one can place their head at the Guru's feet and exchange words of love.
