Why does Chapter 11 emphasize the importance of having a Guru in a physical form?

Chapter 11 strongly advocates for devotion to a Guru in a physical, manifest (Saguna) form. The text explains that as long as the worshipper has a physical body, the Guru must also be in a physical form, calling this a determination of the scriptures. It argues that true devotion cannot manifest without meditating on a Saguna form. According to this chapter, the "bud of the mind" cannot open or bloom without this loving devotion, and without that blooming, there is no spiritual fragrance or nectar for the devotee to experience.
