Why do the teachings in the Sai Satcharitra place such a high value on love?

Love is presented as the supreme and indispensable element of the spiritual path in Chapter 48. The text emphatically states that without love, there can be no satisfaction, and that knowledge itself becomes dry and pointless. The greatness of love is such that everything else is considered trivial in comparison. It is the fertile ground where devotion, peace, and detachment reside. The scripture warns that if deep love is not present in a person's heart, then spiritual practices like listening to stories and reading scriptures are ultimately fruitless. Liberation itself is said to follow where love and devotion are present.
