Why didn't the original author of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, Hemadpant, write the concluding summary as he had promised?

The original author, Hemadpant (Dabholkar), was unable to complete the Shri Sai Satcharitra with its concluding summary because he suddenly passed away. Chapter 53 explains that while he had promised to review the book and provide a summary, his death prevented this.
