Why did Shama get upset with Sai Baba regarding the collection of Dakshina?

Shama became perplexed and questioned Sai Baba's actions because he perceived a form of partiality. As detailed in Chapter 36, Shama observed Baba actively asking for and accepting Dakshina from one devotee while simultaneously returning it when another devotee offered it voluntarily. He expressed his confusion, asking Baba why he showed such a difference in treatment between two friends who had come together. Shama even stated that if he were in Baba's position, he would not act in such a seemingly inconsistent manner, questioning why Baba would show affection for a small amount of money but a selfless attitude toward a larger sum.
