Why did Sai Baba show what appeared to be partiality towards one devotee's food offering?

📖 Chapter 27

An incident described in Chapter 27 recounts how Baba showed great eagerness for a meal brought by a specific lady, which was unusual as he often ignored other offerings. When questioned by Madhavrao about this apparent partiality, Baba explained the profound connection he had with that soul. He revealed that he had known her through her many past lives: as a grocer's cow, in a gardener's family, then a Kshatriya, a grocer's wife, and finally her current birth in a Brahmin family. Baba stated he was seeing her after a long time and wished to have 'two morsels of love' for his happiness, indicating his actions were based on a deep, timeless spiritual bond rather than worldly favoritism.
