Why did Sai Baba show such unusual eagerness to eat the food offering from Mrs. Khaparde?

Sai Baba's unusual eagerness for Mrs. Khaparde's food stemmed from her deep faith and a connection spanning previous lifetimes. As narrated in Chapter 27, Mrs. Khaparde was so devoted that she would fast until Baba personally accepted her daily food offering (naivedya). On one occasion, she brought a plate full of various dishes. As soon as her plate arrived, Baba became very eager, pushed up his sleeves, and immediately sat down to eat from it. This was highly unusual, as other offerings, even those in silver plates, were often kept aside. This prompted Madhavrao to question Baba's partiality, wondering why he showed such special interest in her specific offering.
