Why did Sai Baba place so much emphasis on 'Saburi' or patience? What did he say were the benefits?

πŸ“– Chapter 19

According to Chapter 19, Sai Baba described patience, or Saburi, as a foundational virtue with numerous benefits. He called it the 'manliness of men' and a 'mine of virtues.' He taught that patience has the power to ward off sin, distress, and poverty, avert various calamities, and push away fear and dread. Baba also highlighted its role in achieving success and putting calamity to flight. He poetically described Faith (Nishtha) and Patience (Saburi) as 'two sisters, dear as life to each other,' indicating that one is incomplete without the other and that a person without patience, regardless of their other virtues, lives a life in vain.
