Why did Sai Baba collect holy books if he was already a fully realized being?

While Sai Baba himself was one whose desires were fulfilled and was completely detached, his collection of books was a practical and holy endeavor for the benefit of his devotees. Chapter 27 explains that Baba foresaw a time when Shirdi would be a holy place where his followers from various countries would gather for 'sessions of knowledge.' He knew that while he would eventually go to his 'own abode,' the books would remain as 'images' of him. Therefore, the collection was a means of providing a continuous source of spiritual listening and remembrance for his devotees, ensuring his teachings and presence would endure.
