Why did Sai Baba accept Dakshina from some devotees but refuse it from others? Wasn't this a form of partiality?

📖 Chapter 36

When Shama questioned this apparent partiality, Sai Baba provided a profound explanation. As recorded in Chapter 36, Baba clarified that he personally has no need for wealth, stating, "What house do I have, or what family life? Why would I need wealth? I am certainly detached in every way." He explained that when he asks for Dakshina, it is not for himself. Instead, he said, "Mother Masjid demands what is owed, and the giver becomes free from debt." Baba emphasized that certain things like debt, enmity, and murder are not escaped by the doer, and his actions were to help devotees settle these long-standing spiritual accounts.
