Why did Mamlatdar Dev write a letter to Jog expressing his disappointment after the Udyapan ceremony?

📖 Chapter 40

Mamlatdar Dev wrote to Jog because he felt that Sai Baba had not kept His promise to attend the Udyapan ceremony. According to Chapter 40, Dev had invited Baba, who had replied, "I am coming." However, on the day of the feast, a Sanyasi and two companions arrived uninvited for a meal. Although Dev served them, he remained doubtful and failed to recognize them as Baba. He wrote to Jog questioning how Baba could have "deceived" him and why he was left disappointed without the profound experience he had been waiting for, showing his deep confusion over the events.
