Why did Damu Shet Kasar make a vow to bring a flag for the Ram Navami fair?

Damu Shet Kasar's vow was an act of profound gratitude and faith towards Maharaj. Chapter 0 explains that Damu Shet was deeply saddened because he had no son from either of his two wives. On the advice of an acquaintance, he came for Maharaj's blessing. Maharaj gave his blessing, and a son was born to him. This event fixed his faith completely. In response to this miracle, he took a vow to bring a new flag every Ram Navami and to feed all the Fakirs gathered on that day, a practice he continued faithfully.
