Why did Balasaheb Deo struggle with reading the Dnyaneshwari, and what resolution did he make as a result?

Balasaheb Deo had a great desire to read the Dnyaneshwari daily, but as Chapter 41 explains, he was plagued by persistent obstacles that prevented his resolution from holding. Even when he tried to read just five verses a day, the practice would not stick, and doubts would arise in his heart, making the reading feel superficial. Distressed by his inability to succeed, Deo made a firm resolution born of surrender. He decided that he would only begin reading the sacred text when Sai Baba Himself gave him a direct and clear order to do so, placing his faith entirely in Baba's grace to initiate the practice.
