Why did Balasaheb Deo struggle so much with reading the Dnyaneshwari, even though he wanted to?

📖 Chapter 41

Balasaheb Deo had a deep desire to read the Dnyaneshwari daily, but he faced constant setbacks. According to Chapter 41, whenever he started, some obstacle would arise, or doubts would fill his heart, making the reading feel superficial and preventing him from developing love for the text. This was a unique problem, as he could read other books regularly. Even when he resolved to read a mere five verses, or Ovis, daily, he could not maintain the practice with regularity and enthusiasm, which caused him considerable distress and led him to seek a different path.
