Why did Balasaheb Deo stop trying to read the Dnyaneshwari on his own and what vow did he make at Sai's feet?

📖 Chapter 41

Balasaheb Deo stopped trying to read the Dnyaneshwari on his own due to persistent and frustrating failure. As described in Chapter 41, although he could read other books without issue, his attempts to read the Dnyaneshwari were always thwarted by various obstacles and internal doubts that made the reading superficial. He couldn't even maintain a practice of reading five verses daily. Being distressed and seeing his resolution fail, he made a new, firm resolve centered on his Guru. He vowed with faith at Sai’s feet that he would only start reading the Dnyaneshwari when Sai Baba Himself gave the order and the love for the scripture.
