Why did Balasaheb Deo find it so difficult to read the Dnyaneshwari, and what was his ultimate resolution?

📖 Chapter 41

Balasaheb Deo had a persistent desire to read the Dnyaneshwari daily, but as Chapter 41 explains, he faced continuous obstacles that prevented him from maintaining this practice. Unlike other books which he could read regularly, when he took the Dnyaneshwari in hand, doubts would arise, making the reading feel superficial and loveless. Even a resolution to read just five verses daily did not succeed. Distressed by this failure, Deo made a firm resolve: he would only begin reading the Dnyaneshwari when Sai Baba Himself gave him a direct order to do so, placing his faith entirely at Sai's feet.
