Balasaheb Deo made a firm resolution to only read the Dnyaneshwari upon a direct order from Sai Baba due to his repeated and frustrating failures to read it on his own. According to Chapter 41, despite a strong desire, every attempt was met with some obstacle, and even a minimal goal of five verses a day was not successful. Feeling distressed and seeing his own efforts as fruitless, he decided to completely surrender the initiative to his Guru. He placed his faith at Sai's feet, vowing, "Only when Sai Himself gives love And says 'Read,' then will I start without any confusion."
Why did Balasaheb Deo decide he would only read the Dnyaneshwari if Sai Baba told him to?
