Why did Balasaheb Deo believe it was unnecessary to use a 'trick' to get Sai Baba's order to read the Dnyaneshwari?

Balasaheb Deo felt a 'trick' was unnecessary because of his profound faith in Sai Baba's omniscience and direct relationship with his devotees. As stated in Chapter 41, Deo's response to Jog's suggestion was, "Baba knows my inner heart." He was completely confident that Sai Baba was already aware of his deep desire and the vow he had taken. Therefore, he believed that any scheme was superfluous and that Baba, in His own time, would fulfill the wish directly with a clear verbal command, making any indirect approach both needless and inappropriate.
