Why did Baba refuse to give a mantra to the woman in the mosque, and what did he offer her instead?

In Chapter 19, when a woman sought a secret mantra or 'upadesh' from Sai Baba, he kindly refused. He explained his reasoning by sharing his own experience: "my Guru did not blow any mantra into my ears, so how can I blow one into yours?" He illustrated that his Guru's grace was transmitted through a powerful, loving gaze, comparing it to a mother tortoise nurturing her young from across a river without physical contact. Instead of a mantra, Baba offered her a different path. He advised her to stop worrying and simply "pay attention to me." He promised that by looking at him with affection, "spiritual wealth will come into your hands," indicating that his presence and the devotee's focused attention were the true sources of grace and instruction.
