Why did Baba once insist that the author go back and finish reading a chapter of the Bhagavat?

On a particular day, the author was engaged in his constant practice of reading the Bhagavat. As Chapter 18 recounts, he had only read half a story when the group started heading to the Masjid. Wanting to hear Baba's stories, the author put the book aside and ran to join them. However, Baba perceived that the sacred reading had been left incomplete. The text states that in Baba's mind, 'there was no satisfaction other than the Bhagavat, which had been left in distress.'
