Why did Amir Shakkar start to feel like he was in a prison, and what happened immediately after he left Shirdi without Baba's permission?

📖 Chapter 22

Although Amir Shakkar was blessed with Sai Baba's constant company while staying in the Chavadi, the nine-month confinement took a toll on him. Chapter 22 explains that even with the great fortune of this companionship, Amir grew tired of staying in one place. The text notes that the human mind desires freedom and dislikes dependency, which led to Amir feeling like he was in a prison. Eventually, thinking "Enough of this prison!", he left his assigned place and went to Kopergaon without seeking Baba's permission. Upon arriving at a Dharmashala there, he encountered a dying Fakir who asked for water. The moment Amir gave him a drink, the Fakir's body became lifeless, marking a significant and immediate event following his departure.
