Why did Amir Shakkar eventually leave the Chavadi, and what was the immediate consequence of his departure?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 22

Despite the spiritual benefits, Amir Shakkar grew weary of his long confinement in the Chavadi. Chapter 22 states that after staying in one place for so long, it began to feel like a prison to him, and his mind desired freedom from this dependency. Feeling that he had had "enough of this prison," he made the decision to leave without obtaining Baba's permission. He abandoned his post and went to Kopergaon, where he stayed in a Dharmashala. The immediate consequence of this act was a strange and dramatic event: he encountered a dying Fakir, gave him water out of pity, and the moment the Fakir drank, he died.
